WORK-LIFE FLOW: MICROSOFT AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE WORLD OF WORK

Digitalization is driving the greatest transformation of the world of work since the industrial revolution. Conventional concepts are turned upside down, space and time are emancipated from established values. Mobile work and the home office have become self-evident in many places , while caf├ęs and coworking spaces are no longer only frequented by digital nomads and freelancers. Working side by side with smart machines and digital assistants is an imminent scenario. Our world is increasingly grow-ing into one single network dominated by collaboration, creative relationships, interdisciplinary team-work and new paradigms.
