Smart Mice - Children discover language

For the last 11 years, Microsoft's education initiative "Schlaumäuse - Kinder entdecken Sprache" (Clever Clogs - Kids Learning Language) - has been supporting some 10,000 playschools across Germany in helping 5 to 7 year olds learn to speak. The nursery school teachers also receive a professional introduction to the program as well as tips for learning language at an early age. Speaking, reading and media expertise are essential skills which many children have not mastered to a necessary degree when they are old enough to start school. At the end of 2012 the third version of the well-known software for the initiative was launched.

FAKTOR 3 has supported the initiative since 2011, providing strategic PR and created an exciting press event for the software relaunch as part of an appropriate media campaigne and was responsible for the main contents, preparation of keynote speakers as well as media and press support on the day of the event. FAKTOR 3 also supports the annual tours of the initiative, which visited 30 different regions in Germany in the spring of 2014.
